People with this allergy type need an environment that is permanently aired and clean. The air conditioner and air filtering devices for houses and cars are extremely useful in this situation.

It is better to avoid getting out in the morning and immediately after lunch because these are the periods when the allergens are most present in the atmosphere. People suffering from pollen allergy have to wash their hair when they come in from a stroll in the park so as to remove all the dust and pollen grains that might cause an allergic reaction. It is also advisable to change the street clothes when newly washed and ironed ones. Street shoes must also be put in a wardrobe or a closet in order to avoid the inhalation of the dust on the shoe soles.
